About Me

I hold a bachelor degree in Mathematical Engineering from the University of Chile (2005), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Montréal (2011). In June 2012 I became Assistant Professor at ESG UQÀM, and in June 2016 I became Associate Professor at the same University. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations Research, Operations Management and Programming. My research interests span across multiple disciplines in OR, including logistics, vehicle routing, and data science, among others. The main focus of my research is the development of Mathematical Programming tools for the solution of hard combinatorial problems arising in those areas.
